Marjie has been employed at the UMDNJ-SOM University Wellness Center since 1995. When you see her around, she is usually teaching one of her several Senior Fitness classes or working behind the desk at yet another certification. She recently served as one of ten people on the 2008 Arthritis Foundation National Review/Revision committee for the Foundation’s Aquatics Program Instruction Manual. Marjie loves to take long early morning walks in the country with her dogs no matter what the weather. Born and raised in Salem County, she loves to work in her yard growing both flowers and vegetables. Her two daughters provide her endless entertainment, Katy constantly talking about the latest adventures as a High School English teacher, while Liz creates yet another play, SoundWalk or piece of jewelry. Marjie figures that as long as people keeping attending, she will never quit teaching exercise no matter how old she becomes!
