Information for Visitors

The Stratford Campus of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS) is located on a 32–acre site in a small historic community of South Jersey. The campus is close to numerous cultural, sports and other activities within the city of Philadelphia and the New Jersey Shore. The Stratford Campus is just 10 miles east of Philadelphia, PA, 50 miles from New Jersey’s beaches, less than 80 miles from the ski slopes of the Pocono Mountains, 90 miles from New York, 108 miles from Baltimore and 150 miles from Washington, DC. There is convenient access to all major cities and commercial areas in the Delaware Valley via major highways. Mass transportation is available to Camden and Philadelphia via the PATCO Hi-Speed Line and Atlantic City via NJ Transit both of which can be boarded at the Lindenwold Station located less than one mile from the campus. AMTRAK service can be attained at 30th Street Station in Philadelphia to provide access to the Northeast Corridor (Washington, DC to Boston) and beyond.

The GSBS has 32 full-time faculty members on the Stratford Campus. The campus is shared by six professional schools: the GSBS, the School of Osteopathic Medicine, the School of Nursing, the School of Health Related Professionals, School of Public Health and the New Jersey Dental School.
