GSBS research faculty represent a combination of faculty from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. The scope of research interests spans a wide area in a number of disciplines and is both ‘Basic’ and more applied or ‘Translational’. These areas include basic research in cell and molecular biology, neuroscience, microbiology and virology and more clinically related research in cancer, Alzeimer's, and cardiovascular physiology.
