Doctor of Philosophy in Cell and Molecular Biology
The academic program for Ph.D. students features two years of general and specialized course work followed by a period of intensive research in an area selected by the student and his/her faculty mentor. The program features a combination of required and elective courses. All students are required to take a graduate-level course in Graduate Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of the Cell. Students also receive training in preparation and presentation of seminars. Most courses are specifically tailored for Ph.D. students.

The Stratford Campus of the GSBS offers a graduate program leading to a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology.
Academic Departments:
The successful Ph.D. candidate can expect to receive a stipend of at least $28,455/year, tuition remission and paid health insurance.
