Dr. Lambert is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at SOM and is a Board Certified Family Practitioner.  She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and her undergraduate degrees from the University of Notre Dame and Villanova University.  She is a past president of the New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, has received numerous service, mentoring and leadership awards and has been a student advocate throughout her career. 

Dr. Lambert’s primary role is that of administrator to the department, student counselor, supporting the functions of the Student Affairs Committee, student government and student organizations.

Dean Micciche received his Bachelor’s degree in Communications-Public Relations from Rowan University and his Master of Public Administration (healthcare track) from the joint Rutgers/ UMDNJ-SOM program.  Dean serves as chair for the Council of Alumni Professionals and Development Officers for the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine.

In his role as Program Administrator for Alumni and Student Affairs, Dean is responsible for all alumni and student programs, publications and web sites. Dean also manages the alumni database and the Annual Fund campaign (in conjunction with the Foundation of UMDNJ), and serves as staff liaison to the Board of the Alumni Association.

Ms. Garwood serves as assistant to Dr. Kathryn Lambert and liaison to the Student Affairs committee.  She is administrator of the business operations of Academic and Student Affairs, office manager and handles special projects for the departments.

Elizabeth Cruz

Ms. Cruz serves as assistant to the Program Administrator of Alumni and Student Affairs Office.  She supports alumni and student affairs events by assisting with the promotions, logistics, registrations and related duties.  She distributes alumni and student affairs materials to students, including the Alumni Today newsletter, yearbooks, health insurance packets, and event invitations and program flyers.  Elizabeth provides support for alumni and student-related projects, generates alumni data reports and is responsible for the operations of the School Spirit Store. Elizabeth also maintains the alumni database and provides administrative support for the Alumni Association Board.

Ms. Miklosey is the primary administrative assistant for STUCO and class councils. She manages student finances, scheduling and travel (i.e., conferences) and maintains associated student records.

Ms. Korin is the first point of contact for faculty, students and other guests who enter the Academic and Student Affairs suite. She is the secretary for Problem Based Learning, Area Health Education Consortium (AHEC) and Faculty Development programs, and assists on special projects.
