Internship/Residency Programs at
Christ Hospital
The Traditional Rotating Internship is a one-year program designed to help you explore many facets of medicine before you choose one area in which to specialize.
The program’s strong points include its flexibility and experienced faculty. As you proceed with your internship, you may find that certain specialties such as cardiology or neurology pique your interest. Our program is designed to allow you to branch out and explore these areas through a wide choice of elective rotations. You will receive intensive hands-on training at Christ Hospital. Your internship will also include experience at the North Hudson Community Action Corporation Health Center, an on-site family care center which provides outpatient care to patients of all ages.

“The location of the program makes it ideal because you get to experience
a patient population in an urban environment and suburban community. You
start off managing labor and delivery with the large number of clinic patients
and also get to experience what it's like to work in private practice.”
Maria Nguyen, DO, PGY 3
