About Educational Media

Educational Media and Resources supports UMDNJ-SOM’s mission of providing excellence in medical education, research and health care services.

The department provides technical support services for Audio-Visual, Graphics, MultiMedia, Photography, Video and VideoConferencing projects.

Requests for support for weeknights or weekends must be made three (3) weeks in advance.

General Information

To request Educational Media support services or to inquire about availability of specific services not listed, call 856-566-7123, fax 856-566-6341 or email hamptohe@umdnj.edu.

An Educational Media Job Request Form must be completed for each request for services, indicating Services Requested, Due Date and Method of Payment.

If a Banner Index # is to be charged, the form MUST include that number and an administrative signature authorizing the charge.

Routine production requests will be completed within six (6) working days. Requests for rush work or more complex work will be scheduled individually, dependent on department workload and resources required.

Classroom teaching, individualized instructional, and information presentation support is provided through the use of audio-visual technologies and equipment. Consultation and training on setup and use of equipment are available.
